Inverter Connectivity Alert

The inverter connectivity alert works like the agent communications alert: If there is no data from an inverter for a set period of time, the alert is triggered. The 'offline timeout' period can be adjusted for specific scenarios.

Automatic Adjustment for Sunrise/Sunset

Many inverters completely shutdown communications when they're not running. This makes it difficult for WattMetrics to distinguish between a genuine communications problem and the inverter simply turning off. To help prevent sending unneccessary "inverter offline" messages, the inverter connectivity alert is configured by default to be enabled only between sunrise and sunset.  The system automatically recalibrates the alert daily to use localized times for sunrise and sunset.
